Fairytale castles and magnificent mansions are scattered all over the map of Denmark. I have picked out some of the most cultural and architecturally interesting ones for you on these pages.

Quite a few of them will be open to the public through the summer months. Other will have special events going on at certain times of the year, and yet others are used for accomodations, weddings, family gatherings and a lot more.
Most of these historic buildings are privately owned and effectively run with forest and wood production, hunting events and huge farms etc.
